To take advantage out of your computer you need a working mouse. Often you will see people buying mouses on a regular basis, because they stop working properly. While I don’t have a solution in case your mouse is optical or wireless, there is a way to repair “faulty” ball mouse, namely cleaning it. Here are some steps you can take to clean your ball mouse:

  • Disconnect your mouse from the computer.
  • Open the ball cover from the back side of the mouse.
  • Clean the dust in the inner side of the mouse, taking special care to the rollers. You should do it with a slightly damp cloth.
  • Clean the ball and don’t forget to dry it before putting it back.Hope this helps!
